Privacy notice
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This notice applies to the website and travel studio operated by Waylume Labs LLC.
Local travel demos
Sample itinerary selections, indoor alternatives and budget calculations run in your browser. They are not sent to our AI assistant. Downloads are generated on your device. We do not add advertising pixels, analytics scripts or an account system. These demos do not use persistent browser storage.
Travel questions and Claude
When you click “Ask Waylume,” your current question is sent through Cloudflare to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate an answer. No previous conversation or sample itinerary is included. Questions are limited to 600 characters and responses to 400 output tokens. Do not include names, contact details, booking references, passport information, payment data or other sensitive information.
We do not store chat questions or answers in our application database. They remain visible in your browser until you replace them or leave the page. Cloudflare and Anthropic may process requests under their own service and privacy terms, including security and operational retention. We do not claim zero provider retention.
Rate limits and hosting
To control abuse and API usage, our service stores a keyed hash derived from your IP address, a request count and an expiry timestamp. It does not store raw IP addresses in this application database. One request is allowed per network every 60 minutes, subject to a shared daily allowance. Failed requests can count toward these limits. Expired counters are removed during successful chat requests once they are more than 24 hours past expiry; cleanup may be delayed while the service is inactive.
Cloudflare also processes standard network information, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from our application’s quota counters.
Images, fonts and external links
Images and fonts are hosted with this website. We do not embed booking widgets. If you open an external link, that service’s privacy practices apply.
